First UMC is active in Siler City. We love to feed and care for people who have needs. Would you like to serve with us? We would love to connect and serve together.

CORA – SNACK Food Pantry

During the summers, First UMC is a pick-up site where families can receive free food from the summer SNACK program. We have free groceries available every other Wednesday night starting at 6:00 PM. 

Flexercise

Looking for low impact workout group to be a part of? Then, join the Flexercise group! Flexercise meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning in the church fellowship hall. They begin by walking from 9:30am to 10am followed by a low-impact workout at 10am. The best part, it only costs $1.00 per day. Chatham Chuckwagon

FUMC partners with the Chatham Alliance to bring the Chatham Chuckwagon to Siler City. On the 3rd Friday of each month, FUMC has a tent set up in the large parking lot behind KFC off of HWY 64. We give away frozen, vacuum-sealed bags of seasoned and precooked chicken. If you need some high-quality protean or know someone who does, see us and receive this tasty food at no cost! 

Congergations 4 Children (C4C)

FUMC partners with Chatham Middle School to provide clothing and food to kids in need. Many middle schoolers need support and have few places to turn. By partnering with the school counselor, we stay up-to-date with the students’ needs and then purchase items to give to the school.
